How often should robot vacuum parts be replaced?
Editor: Feroz Sheikh · Updated · How we verify
Start with the calendar for your exact robot and dock. Cleaning intervals and replacement intervals are different: cleaning a usable brush removes debris, while replacement addresses wear or damage. The following schedules are recorded only for the models listed in each manufacturer profile. An interval from another generation is not a universal rule.

What changes the practical schedule?
Use frequency, pet hair, floor debris and the condition of the part can affect maintenance needs. Keep the manufacturer schedule as the reference and inspect the component at the recommended cleaning interval. A calendar reminder cannot establish the condition of a filter seal, roller end cap or mop attachment. If a part is damaged, follow the replacement procedure in the manual rather than waiting for its planned date.
Filters and water
Check whether the exact filter is washable. A washable pad does not mean the robot filter can also be rinsed. Never reinstall a damp filter. Follow the manual's drying time and replace torn filter media or a deformed frame with the correct manufacturer-listed item.
Brushes and error messages
Clear user-removable hair and debris before interpreting a brush-stall warning as worn hardware. Keep end caps and bearings with the assembly specified by the robot manual. If the fault returns after safe cleaning and normal reseating, use the brand support route; repeated purchases are not a substitute for diagnosis.
Dock bags, mop pads and batteries
For a dock bag, confirm the station model separately from the robot. Use its fullness alert and the manual rather than a generic monthly promise. Clean and dry a reusable mop pad as directed. Batteries do not receive a made-up fixed replacement calendar: charging faults, damage and service instructions must be assessed by the manufacturer.
Find your model-specific part page
Open the model catalog, select the exact robot and read its maintenance block beside the sourced part links. If no fixed interval is verified there, consult that robot's current manual or app reminder. Identify the model number first.
