A fit label is published only when there is a URL a reader can open. If that URL is missing, the state is Not confirmed. Not confirmed is not a soft yes.

The four labels

Fits — an official support article or parts product page names this exact model or a closed list that includes it. This is an official manufacturer-listing claim, not a claim that VacPartFit physically lab-tested the part.

Probably fits — an official family or series list covers the robot, with a written caveat (Combo vs vacuum-only, Plus dock vs robot-only, regional SKU).

Does not fit — the same official page excludes the model, or two official pages split the SKU (example: Combo filter 4785883 vs e/i/j filter 4639161).

Not confirmed — forum posts, Amazon titles, seller charts, or no source. The page still exists so the gap is visible.

What counts as a source

  1. Manufacturer accessory or parts page for the exact model or a closed model list.
  2. Official support article that explicitly states interchangeability or non-interchangeability.
  3. Official user manual, exploded view or dated parts list.
  4. Official firmware or in-app accessory catalog that names the SKU.
  5. If official evidence is unavailable, an authorized distributor may support a Probably fits verdict only when the exact model and OEM SKU are independently reproduced by at least one other reputable specialist reseller.
  6. Reseller-only evidence never becomes Fits, and it is never used for batteries, charging components, cleaning solution or docks. A marketplace title by itself stays Not confirmed.

Reseller fallback verification

We record the seller, exact model string, OEM SKU, region and observation date, then compare at least two independent listings. The wording and identifiers must agree; copied marketplace boilerplate, shared photos and affiliate roundups do not count as independent evidence. Any mismatch leaves the row Not confirmed.

What does not count

Last verified

Every compatibility page carries a last-checked date of 1 October 2026 for the current pass. When a manufacturer page changes, the row should move — it should not stay Fits on stale memory.

Review responsibility

Feroz Sheikh is the named editor and accountable reviewer. Structured official-source checks support the editorial process. Battery and other high-risk electrical rows publish the checker, exact source-verification status and safety limitation. Source verification is never described as a physical battery test.
