Roborock S8 main brush: original vs aftermarket

Editor: · Updated · How we verify

The S8’s dual-roller cleaning system must be identified independently of the S7 roller.

What is actually verified

The records below describe the manufacturer-listed original items, including exclusions. They are not tests of unnamed third-party products. An aftermarket listing has to be checked separately against the exact model code S8 and the original identifier.

Not confirmedNo official fit proof

When the cheaper pack is difficult to compare

A seller must document the correct pair and supported deck. This page does not declare an unnamed generic roller compatible.

Match the complete roller assembly, including both end caps, bearing seats and the drive connection. A similar roller length or rubber color does not prove that it will seat in the cleaning head. Single rollers, bristle-and-beater pairs and dual rubber rollers use different decks. Check the manufacturer's supported-model list before transferring a roller between generations.

Remove hair and thread from the user-serviceable brush ends before deciding that the roller needs replacing. Follow the exact robot manual for opening the brush cover and refitting its latches. A brush obstruction error is a symptom: it can come from trapped debris, an incorrectly seated cover or a damaged assembly. It is not automatic proof that a new brush will fix the robot.

Decision before buying

Use the original record as the identity reference. If the seller cannot substantiate a conflicting model or part number, leave that aftermarket relationship unverified and seek a documented match. A manufacturer fit label does not establish seller authenticity or comparative product performance.
