DEEBOT N79 filter: original vs aftermarket

Editor: · Updated · How we verify

The N79 kit contains sponge-and-filter sets as a particular bundle component.

What is actually verified

The records below describe the manufacturer-listed original items, including exclusions. They are not tests of unnamed third-party products. An aftermarket listing has to be checked separately against the exact model code N79 and the original identifier.

FitsOfficial manufacturer listing

Fits. The original Buddy Kit explicitly lists N79 and contains one main brush, four side brushes and three filters. The component record covers only the item supplied in this bundle; AIVI, Pro or other suffixes need their own listing.

When the cheaper pack is difficult to compare

A loose aftermarket filter needs its own assembly identity; the original bundle has no separately verified component SKU here.

A replacement filter has to seal against the correct dust-bin housing. Match the frame outline, tabs and sealing edge as well as the printed identifier. A listing that mentions the robot brand without the complete model is not enough. A foam-and-paper filter assembly and a unibody filter can belong to different generations even when both are sold under the same family nickname.

Check the manufacturer's cleaning instructions before adding water. Washable describes a specific filter, not every filter sold for that brand. A damp filter can restrict airflow and trigger a warning that resembles a failed part. Let a washable item dry for the period stated in its manual; replace torn media or a damaged seal instead of forcing it back into the bin.

Decision before buying

Use the original record as the identity reference. If the seller cannot substantiate a conflicting model or part number, leave that aftermarket relationship unverified and seek a documented match. A manufacturer fit label does not establish seller authenticity or comparative product performance.
